“I have little to no bike repair experience. I just need the basics for now. I’m new to riding and just signed up for a 50-mile bike ride for next summer. I need to be able to take care of myself if I find myself alone. I would also like to do some basic maintenance on my own as well as get familiar with my bike.”

No Worries! I can help. Learning bike repair skills can seem overwhelming at first. But we'll break it down into small chunks for you and take one bite at a time. Sometimes, I like to start the class with your most feared part of the bike. We will take the mystery or misery out of the equation and replace it with knowledge and confidence. -Arthur

“I do some basic maintenance like tube and brake pad replacement and maybe a chain. I take it to the bike shop for anything else. I never knew what was done to my bike. I want to know more about preventative maintenance and what are the causes of the issues.”

Arthur - The Advanced class combines the intermediate and beginner classes and then adds more skill-building, like wheel truing. It’s a good way to get exposed to a well-rounded bike repair or tune-up scenario. -Arthur

“I’ve ridden for years and have more than one bike. I don’t want to take it to the local bike shop (LBS) anymore. It’s time for me to learn. I have always dreamed of building my own bike. I may or may not see myself working in or owning a bike shop in some capacity. This could be a great alternative when I’m ready to retire or just a change of pace.”
Jason, student
Arthur- Use this class for a well-rounded top-to-bottom and in-depth disassembly of the entire bike, including reassembling and fine-tuning. Add 30 hours more and call it the 70-hour class if you never want to visit your local bike shop again or as much. The 70-hour class is also recommended for those wanting to work in the bicycle industry or just want a great experience with more repetition and troubleshooting.
