We will cover the basics of the most common and strongest three cross lacing. You will get familiar with a wheel by dismantling it and systematically separating the spokes, nipples, rim, and hub. I like to break up the lacing into four parts. Parts one and two require the most focus. Parts three and four fall into place. Creating tension evenly is the first step, followed by lateral true, radial true, dishing, and then locking all your hard work into place with proper spoke tension using the tension meter.
This is a four hour class at $225. (two, 2hr sessions okay)
You are also welcome to bring in built wheels for check up and truing at this time. Call or email Arthur for appointments. Email arthur@biketeacher.com Ph 408-210-2980.
